Information Technology Qualification (ITQ)
We offer free basic and advanced IT courses that run every two weeks for two weeks. These courses are designed to help people gain qualifications. These qualifications are accredited through City & Guilds and are widely recognised. Undertaking one of our courses could lead to securing a job or further education. Independent learning is encouraged but our friendly, fully qualified teachers will be here to help the learner every step of the way. On completion of the course, learners will be offered a chance to gain a provisional CSCS card, provisional driving license or driving theory test.
CSCS
Anyone who wishes to work in the construction industry will need a CSCS card. We offer the six month provisional card wherein learners will have to pass a health and safety test. We also offer the five year labouring card; which requires two health and safety tests to be passed.
These are 3-5 day courses that require five hours a day of learning.
Normally the cost of revising and paying for these tests is between £49.50-£75.00+
Childcare
The Level 2 and level 3 Diploma for the Children and Young People’s Workforce (England) is a chance for a young person to kick-start their career into the world of childcare. The Level 2 is the CYPW but the level 3 is the Level 3 Diploma for Early Years Workforce (Early Years Educator). Anyone who works or wants to work at a supervisory level in the children and young people’s workforce, then this is the apprenticeship for them.
