- Level 2 and level 3 Diploma for the Children and Young People’s Workforce (England)
The Level 2 and level 3 Diploma for the Children and Young People’s Workforce (England) is a chance for a young person to kick-start their career into the world of childcare. The Level 2 is the CYPW but the level 3 is the Level 3 Diploma for Early Years Workforce (Early Years Educator). Anyone who works or wants to work at a supervisory level in the children and young people’s workforce, then this is the apprenticeship for them.
This qualiﬁcation is designed to build the knowledge and skills needed when working with children and young people from birth to 7 years.
Our dedicated childcare tutor will work one to one with you to support your learning throughout the duration of the course.
To apply for this course, you must be 16 – 24 years old and for the Level 3 you must have A* - C GCSE’s in English and Maths. The apprenticeship will take 1-2 years and will feature a work placement at a local nursery.
Completion of this course can lead to various roles in the statutory, voluntary and private sector. These Include:
- Pre-school worker
- Nursery Practitioner
- Teaching Assisting
You could also move onto a higher-level apprenticeship or onto a foundation degree.
